Description:
Agar is a kind of polysaccharide extracted from natural seaweed. Instant agar is technologically improved based on conventional agar and named SA10. Compared to the conventional agar, SA10 has excellent gel performance and suspension characteristics especially at low temperature, so it can be widely used in yogurt and jelly .
Advantages:
1. It is extracted from the marine plants, safe and healthy.
2. It can be quickly soluble at 50~55℃ as well as dispersible without sticking together.
3. It is convenient to use with energy conservation.

We have developed a series of modified waxy maize starch for fluid or semi-fluid convenient foods, ranging from cooking sauces (e.g. soya sauce, oyster sauce), food dressings, fillings and emulsions like mayonnaise, to ketchup, etc. These modified starch starches acts as excellent thickener and stabilizer to improve texture, stability, mouth-feel and appearance of above foods. Flavor and seasonings are the important ingredients for food industry to satisfy the consumers by attractive taste and flavor. Protect flavor form degrading and controlled flavor release are the critical challenges for flavor and seasoning manufacturers.
We have developed an OSA modified starch as a cost -effective solution to protect flavor oil from degradatioin, oxidation and volatile evaporation, by encapsulating the flavor oil/fat into spray dried powder due to its excellent emulsification and retention property. This encapsulated powder is also an effective way of flavor dispersion and instant release, and it provides ease of handling and incorporation into dry food recipes.
We have a ranges of other modified starches developed for flavor and seasonings sector as well, providing emulsifying, thickening, retention effects to the product, achieve the flavors and seasonings with desired texture, stability and flavor release as the consumers prefer. This range of modified starches also give cost-effective options to customers to substitute traditional high cost ingredients like arabic gum and gelatin, etc.
Our building specialized modified starch is one kind of starch ether. It is a good mortar additive designed for dry mixing mortar industry. This starch ether can improve the performance and optimize the workability of dry mortar by modifying the thickness and rheology of dry mortars based on gysum, cement, lime, etc. It is usually used in combination with cellulose ethers (native or modified). It can well perform in neutral and alkaline conditions, and it is compatible with other additives in gypsum based and cement based building materials, e.g. redispersible polymer powders like surfactant, MC, starch, PVAC, etc.
Our modified starch IND-GB is designed for use as binder and adhesive in the production of gypsum wallboard. It can acts on the wallboard edges as follow:
Refinforce the bond between the gypsum core and the paper

Our modified starch is a wet end additive for papermaking. It is a cationic starch with positive charge. Addition of cationic starch in paper can improve the paper bursting strength and tensile strength, and improve the quality of paper.
Our modified starch is specially designed for water transfer paper. It is featured with excellent flowability, good film-forming ability, low viscosity and high gloss. This kind of modified starch can be widely applied in water transfer paper for ceramics, glass, plastic products, etc.
It is well recognized that sodium bicarbonate plays an important role in animal feeds especially as buffer agent and an alternative source of sodium.
For ruminants, the buffering capacity of sodium bicarbonate helps stabilize the rumen pH by reducing acid conditions, thus improving the performance, feed intake and dairy cow productivity.
For broilers, sodium bicarbonate could partly replace salt to assist litter control via providing dryer litter and a healthier living environment.
For layers, it could strengthen the eggshell, prolong the shelf life of eggs at high temperature, and increase the egg production even in the late laying period.
It is also widely applied in swine, sheep, lamb and beef cattle feeds.

β-Carotene is chemically classified as a hydrocarbon and specifically as a terpenoid (isoprenoid), reflecting its derivation from isoprene units. β-Carotene is biosynthesized from geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate. It is a member of the carotenes, which aretetraterpenes, synthesized biochemically from eight isoprene units and thus having 40 carbons. Among this general class of carotenes, β-carotene is distinguished by having beta-rings at both ends of the molecule. Absorption of β-carotene is enhanced if eaten with fats, as carotenes are fat soluble.
Carotene is the substance in carrots, pumpkins and sweet potatoes that colors them orange and is the most common form of carotene in plants. In nature, β-carotene is a precursor (inactive form) to vitamin A .Isolation of β-carotene from fruits abundant in carotenoids is commonly done using columnchromatography. β-Carotene is a non-polar compound, so it is separated with a non-polar solvent such as hexane. Being highly conjugated, it is deeply colored, and as ahydrocarbon lacking functional groups, it is very lipophilic.
